Sasha and Lala (Formerly Zara and Tina) - Morkie and YorkieDear Ben and Gina, Thank you so much for all the help you provided in choosing a new pup for our family! We originally came in looking for a Maltese, but our minds completely changed when we saw all the other puppies at the kennel! They were all so beautiful, but our hearts were set on the little Morkie Zara, now named Sasha. We came back a second time and couldn't decide between two little puppies, the Morkie and the Yorkie named Tina, now Lala. After a lot of thinking, we came to the conclusion that we couldn't leave without either one so we took both of them home! We were skeptical about the whole thing at first, as we are first-time puppy owners, but Ben and Gina offered a lot of help and good information on the joys of raising baby puppies. The puppies are healthy, playful, and are already a part of the family. They only cried one night and started using puppy pads excellently on only the 3rd day! We don't know how we lived for so long without having them in our lives! Jaxon - Tea Cup YorkieAbout a week ago I found myself having to say goodbye to our beloved Golden, a Yorkshire Terrier, that we had for 13 1/2 years. Although he was ill, with a chronic disease for the last four years, my wife and I did all we could to keep him with us. After saying goodbye to Golden, which was one of the saddest days of our entire lives, we found ourselves very sad, lonely, and our house did not feel like a home any longer. A huge part of our family dynamics was gone. After grieving for him, I figured the only way to make us feel whole again was to go search for a new Yorkie son. After doing much research, I came across the Star Yorkie Kennel. It was there that we first met Ben and Gina, two wonderful people who have an immaculate kennel with 14 beautiful baby puppies. They were very patient and quite informative on all the animals and the "nursery" was even cleaner than a hospital. After a bit of time, I fell in love with a pup who Ben and Gina called Justin Timberlake. This little yorkie just looked into my eyes and said "please take me home with you". The last 24 hours has certainly changed our lives. Due to the love and care that both Gina and Ben showed these little pups, our pup now called Jaxon (changed his name due to the fact I wasnt a big NSYNC fan), has become the center of our lives. He is full of energy and love that could only obtain from the Star Yorkie Kennel. Ben and Gina...thank you so much for the gift of joy we received yesterday. I would recommend the Star Yorkie Kennel to anyone that is looking for a happy, healthy puppy. These people are in this business for the love of the animals. Tyra Banks - Yorkshire terrierJust wanted to let you know I took “Tyra” to the vet yesterday for her puppy check up and she is perfect. We are having a lot of fun with her as she has quiet the personality. She is eating and sleeping well, as a matter of fact, she eats her last meal at 8:00p and by 9:00p she is out for the night and doesn’t wake up until about 7:00am. She uses her weewee pad about 95% of the time, so she really is advanced more than I had expected. Michael Jordan (TuTu) - Teacup Yorkshire TerrierMichael Jordan (we renamed him TuTu). My boyfriend and I got him for each other for Christmas. He is the LOVE of my life!!! He was the BEST christmas present I could ever ask for. When we went to pick him up, I was impressed with the organization and cleanliness of it all. Ben was so kind and professional, I felt very good getting TuTu through him. TuTu has stole my heart, he is playful and so loving. He is now potty trained, because he was already partially potty trained when we got him. He is so friendly and listens so well. I would strongly recommend using Star Yorkie Kennel. Nemo - Yorkie"We" couldn't think of a better day than Thanksgiving to thank STAR YORKIE! I received a thank you phone call from the man to whom I donated my kidney and then I called Ben & Gina to thank them for saving my life....with NEMO! What a cool dog! He is ten weeks old with the soul of a puppy, the IQ of Bill Gates and the athletic prowess of Wayne Gretzky! *I was certain I was going to Star Yorkie to adopt Katie Holmes!? When I got there, I wanted a dozen but NEMO just kept jumping up to me. I couldn\'t let him go! Unfortunately, I really wanted a girl as I love pink, but as the saying goes....real men wear pink! So far, NEMO hasn\'t complained. *Ben does an amazing job taking care of the puppies. I am a nurse and I expect the same treatment for dogs and humans, equally. Well, not only is ben a great \"nurse\", he is also a board certified specialist!!! There isnt one academic question he couldnt answer and his patience to answer those questions and to educate about the dogs was so impressive. If you will, the energy when you walk into where the puppies live is lovely. And, the place is very clean. So, Thank You STAR YORKIE! Vince Vahn... - MorkyWe love this dog! It was clear from the moment we picked him up he was well loved and cared for at Star Yorkie. He came into our home full of love and made instant best friends with our Golden Retriever who now serves as his constant companion and guardian. His temperament is outstanding and loving. He follows us room to room, if he wanders out of eyesight he comes bounding back when we call is name...we do have the luxury of having our Golden go get him while we are calling for him. He is learning very quickly and is quite intelligent. His first night home in his crate he was content and slept through most of the night,when he fussed just a little our Golden Retriever came to reassure him. He has obviously been well loved and cared for before we adopted him, he adjusted to his new home as though he has always lived here. Maxwell (Zack) - MaltipooDear Ben Thank you so much! Our new little Maltepoo (you had named him Zack) is now named Maxwell Shadow - he follows you everywhere you go. We didn't actually choose the dog, he and our 11 year old son, Matthew, chose each other. Matthew had been ill for a month and his mom and I promised him a puppy when he got better. Matthew found the puppy's photo on your website and we scheduled an appointment for later that day. Once they saw each other, that was it. Your kennel is clearly run with love. All of the puppy's areas were roomy and spotless. You were most gracious, giving my family the time we needed to decide if this particular puppy was right for us. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for the perfect companion or pet. Little Maxwell has already become part of our family. We already had two purebred yorkies and although they are small, they tower over this 1.2 pound cutie. Maxwell thinks he is much bigger than he is and has started playfully chasing his big sister dogs around the house. He is cuddly and good natured and he got a clean bill of health from our vet. Star - Yorkshire terrierDear Ben & Gina How do i begin in expressing the sheer joy my little female Yorkie has brought to me? I have owned dogs along the way and my last one died after 17 years. Like dog lovers and pet owners, I was heartbroken in this loss. I wanted another dog ASAP - to love and help with the healing process. i felt empty in both my heart and my home. I searched for the type of dog that i truly wanted - with no results. I prayed and in so doing i felt the urge to reach out to persons who really needed help. This led me to give contribution to the people of Israel (the holy land). Almost immediately, thereafter,I found your kennel. And needless to say the dog which was the image of what I wanted and hoped for. This little dog traveled on a plane from CA to NY. She was in the air for hours. I did not know what to expect,regarding her condition after such a trip. When i picked her up at the airport i could not believe it! To my surprise, she was fine! She was fully alert and filled with abundance of energy - right from the start. She was tiny with a beautiful face and built as well. She is perfectly proportioned with large lovely eyes that melt the hearts of all who meet and greet her with high praise;all around. She explores everything in her new home with vigor and vitality and has adjusted well to the time zone difference. Indeed, she is already part of this family. Since she came to us, by way of the sky - we named her Abiding Star. We call her Star. And believe me she is! So much has come together in her arrival.You told me there was Hebrew connection in your family. And, of course the title of your kennel connects to what we call her, as well. Even my Mom and husband are in awe of this fabulous find and how it all came together. Once again, i thank you for your detailed care and all you have done to fulfill this dream for me.
